Last updated: May 22, 2025

1. Who we are

Linkster (linkster.website) is a link-in-bio SaaS platform that lets users create a personal profile page with links, social media, and other content blocks. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, username — collected at registration.
  • Profile content: bio, avatar, links, social media URLs, and other content you add to your profile.
  • Usage data: page view counts, click counts on your profile (aggregated, no personal visitor data stored).
  • Technical data: IP address (for rate limiting only, not stored long-term), browser type, device type.
  • Integration tokens: Instagram, Telegram — only if you connect these services voluntarily.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the Linkster service.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
  • To send service notifications via Telegram (only if you connect a Telegram bot).
  • To protect against abuse (rate limiting, fraud prevention).
  • To improve the service (aggregated analytics only).

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Supabase (EU region) — database and file storage.
  • Vercel — hosting and CDN.
  • SendPulse — transactional email delivery.
  • Anthropic — AI profile generation (only when you explicitly use the AI feature; your description is sent to their API).
  • Stripe — payment processing. When you subscribe, your payment data is handled directly by Stripe. We only store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status.
  • Upstash (EU region) — rate limiting.
  • Sentry — error monitoring (anonymized error reports only).

5. Data retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us, after which all your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Request data portability.
  • Object to processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@linkster.website.
